Out of Africa and into Texas Wildlife Photo Workshop • April 5 - 7
I've been going to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose, Texas for more than 20 years, and I still enjoy photographing the animals and teaching workshops in this Africa-like location. If you can't go on a photo safari, or if you want to practice your wildlife photography skills, this Canon Live Learning workshop is for you.

Exotic China • May 17 - 24
Join my friend Ken Koskela and yours truly for a truly magical and mystical photo experience in Guilin, China. Two instructors from dawn to dusk. We will be teaching composition, exposure, Lightroom and Photoshop enhancements. Yes! We'll have some good Chinese food, too!
Before the trip, you may want to fly into Beijing – where you can photograph, on your own, the Great Wall of China, the Summer Palace, and the Forbidden City. Both sites are easily accessible from city hotels. Hong Kong and Shanghai are options, too.
Oregon Coast Photo Caravan Session I: July 22 - 28 (Sorry, full)
Journey with me and my co-workshop leader Alex Morley along the picturesque coast of Oregon – from Newport to Bandon – photographing the majestic seascapes along the way. Alex and I will teach composition, exposure and Lightroom. This will be our fourth Oregon Coast Photo Caravan. We hope you can join the photo learning and photo fun.

Oregon Coast Photo Caravan Session II: July 29 - August 2
Our week-long Oregon Coast Photo Caravan filled up fast. So we decided to add another workshop immediately following the original dates. This session will explore photo opportunities in the Bandon and Yachats area of the Oregon Coast. Photo locations will include rocky cliffs, beaches and lighthouses. Rick Sammon and local photographer Alex Morley are co-leading this session too.
Face to Face Photo Workshop • August 5 & 6 • Costa Mesa, CA

Phenomenal Patagonia • November 3 - 12
Join Rick me and Ken Koskela in the Patagonian region of Chile and Argentina in November, 2017... during Springtime! Words simply cannot describe the landscape you will experience while there. In Chile’s Torres Del Paine National Park, we will photograph the stunning peaks of "Los Cuernos" and Cerro Paine Grande with beautiful turquoise waters and white rapids in the foreground.
