Conquer/Master Composition with Two New iPhone and iPad Apps!

Edward Weston said, "Composition is the strongest way of seeing." I agree, and that's one of the cool things about being a photographer: we see the world differently than non-photographers.

To help you conquer/master composition, my friend David Ziser and I have just introduced two apps, each for $1.99.

My new app: Conquer Composition – is designed to give you a jump start on landscape composition techniques. It’s like an interactive ebook on your iPhone and iPad. The app, using Flip Book technology, is illustrated with 27 of my favorite images from my Iceland photo workshops. Each photo includes all camera info and a composition tip. Videos, most shot in Iceland, are included, too.

All my apps are listed on my iPhone & iPad Apps page.

David's new app: Hot Shots Composition – for the iPad and iPhone – is an interactive app that offers quick and effective composition tips for wedding and portrait photographers – pros and amateur alike. Brides and grooms can use the app to get creative wedding photo ideas. While flipping through the screens, using Flip Book technology, the user sees end-result photographs along with detailed diagrams. The app is illustrated with David's awesome wedding images.

Both apps were developed by Craig Ellis, founder of GO Mobile  - a company that specializes in developing apps for creative photographers.
